There should have been more emphasis on...

...the technological and social differences between 2015 and 1995. I mean, so much has changed. They touch on it a little bit, but not nearly as much as I had a anticipated and hoped it would. The show mostly focuses on Becca's personal relationships. I felt that she would seriously have to adapt to life without an iPhone, wifi, direct TV, GPS, etc. Sure, she did it before, but she's grown so dependent on life's technological conveniences. I was just a little surprised that she seemed to remember everything like it was yesterday. I remember Windows 95, but I don't REMEMBER Windows 95. The fish-out-of-water experiences would've really added a more comedic touch to the series. It's a good show, but dare I saw, it could have been great? That's why I stopped watching.
