What makes this show extra special

The thing I've learned in watching some of the other Nick/Disney shows of this decade is that it's hard for kids shows these days to have morals and such and yet not be tacky. But NRDD manages this conflict with 2 secret weapons: 1) Characters that make great foils for one another and 2) Fun and entertaining storylines. What do you think?
