EXCELLENT film on Vietnam, one of the best

Riveting and touching documentary on just Charlie COmpany in Vietnam - out of the original 169 or so men sent, something like 25 died, 110 were injured, so only 35 or so were "intact" at the end of their tour - they were sent into the Mekong Delta.. this makes Coppla's Apocalypse Now all the more real..

Love the interviews with the survivors, excellent stories to bring to the public.. yes, they should have been HUGGED when arriving home, by the anti-war protesters as well, they didn't really have a choice in serving -- if they did, they were fooled by the gov't and media like most of us back in 64 when the war was escalated by LBJ at the bidding of the military-industrial complex, so they could reap the financial benefits..

My only regret in life is that I'm not someone else - Woody Allen
