Supposedly cancelled by FX, another good show bites the dust.

i never understand this shcit. if it was unwatchable to you, turn the friggin channel. why root for it to get cancancelled. 500 channels and streaming options. go find something else.

Not really surprised.

FX seems to be on a cancelling spree as of late. So far, they've also given Tyrant (2014) the axe as well.

I'm surprised they didn't actually put it on their other station, FXX. At least it would have had somewhat of a fighting chance instead of deciding to cancel it. Besides, they list most of their comedies on FXX such as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005).

I'm with you about Tyrant. At least it didn't end on a cliffhanger but is never resolved much either. It should have had at least a couple more seasons. Real seasons, not these 10 or 12 episodes each.

I'm glad it was cancelled. I loved the first season. I hated season two. Never have I seen a tv show take such a serious downturn in quality in only the second season. The first episode was decent, but then once they started with that whole "lesbian" thing, it started to get stupid as hell. I guess they hired feminist writers in a desperate attempt to bring it up it's pretty low ratings. Well, it was desperate and pathetic and it was obvious to everyone how desperate and pathetic it was. There were a few more decent episodes in the middle of the season, but it ended just as stupid as it started this season.

Also, what was the deal with the band? Are they the freaking Assassins? Are they The Heathens? Are they Ava X? Was the rhythm section even in the band anymore or were they broadway wannabes? Stupid as hell. Good riddance.

Funny, I heard that FX was has already renewed the show for next season.

This news really doesn’t surprise me, especially with the way season 2 was looking. The first season is really decent and has its funny moments. Season 2 felt completely lackluster with pointless drama, relationships, and less focus about the music.

I really enjoyed it, love Gigi's voice. If you don't like it, don't watch. There are a million other channels. Irritates me that people out there are glad it got cancelled and take the time to come on here to say so. If you don't like the show, why are you looking at the boards?? Jeez
