Am I the only one....

...who finds the Flash and Gigi thing a tad creepy?

Am I the only one....
Who hates every blank generic "Am I the only one" thread tittle? No, everyone does. No idea how this became a thing. Why not just use a thread tittle?

End rant

SO are you asking if you are the only one? :) I didn't know it was a thing- seems kinda lame

Very. And I see it all the time. It's a blank call for attention. Posters think if they leave it ambiguous, they will get more clicks. Worried an actual title that expresses a though may get ignored. I know it sounds rude, but that is what it is. A lonely cry....

I love it when they are flirting in front of Dennis Leary's character and find it funny. But outside of that, yes it is a bit creepy.

I also keep thinking that it will turn out that both Flash and Johnny Rock slept with Gigi's mother and that either of them could be Gigi's father.

That would be weirder than Luke kissing Leia LoL I like the show. Not sure how long it can last with a 30 minute slot because it gets too gimmicky and it could be a solid shoe with more time to dive into the other chatavters.

I get the feeling Gigi is playing everyone in the band to take it over for herself. In last week's episode about their Belgian concert, at first Gigi was all about the music. Just wanted "tea and honey" backstage so she could perform. She, at that time, loathed the whole 'rock and roll' *beep* Then comes the end of the episode when she magically wants expensive liquors and jewelry or something like that. She renamed the band from The Assassins to Gigi And The Assassins. So clearly she's using everyone to get what she wants.

Only question is she being puppeteer by her mother, Cat. Someone we've yet to see in the show.

As i understood that scene is that she started to act like a diva after Flash tried to kick Johnny out of the band. In other words she did it to show dominance and keep the whole band together.

reply

Not really, but then I don't think there's anything such as an age-inappropriate relationship between consenting adults.

It's meant to appear creepy, though. A good example is the joke from the most recent episode, where the waitress asks Gigi if she wants anything else for her dad (or something like that).

Age differences are pretty common in music and Hollywood. Plus they addressed that in this last episode.

reply

Ummm, that's the point. Gigi has daddy issues and she likes shoving Flash in her dad's face.

reply

nope it is creepy
