At the diner? She has the heavy drawl and the 2-packs a day for 45 years smoking voice.. Looked and definitely sounded familiar. I swear I remember her from something else but I don't see her listed in the cast credits... Anyone?

A lot of people in Bernie were like that. That was part of the vision. There's been an underlying authenticity vibe with movie-makers who cast unknowns for exactly that reason... to mixed success.
