Fantastic Television

I came to this message board expecting there to be loads of people praising the show and am genuinely surprised there aren't. I have been spending a sunny Saturday afternoon binge watching on All4 and have watched 3 episodes so far and am hooked!
The story is gripping, even more so considering its basis in truth. And the actors are all impeccable, especially the young actors who are able to play the transition from youthful innocence to adulthood in the shadow of war so well.
So glad I stumbled across the show and will definitely be recommending to everyone.

I've just finished watching the series- I love subtitled series but I have to make sure I have the time to keep focused rather than watch when I have the laptop on the go
it was a good series, although I did really like the Norwegian one about the Saboteurs- I thought it gave me more of an insight into how life was in France under occupation and the barbarity of the Germans, particularly Klaus Barbie who was supported by the Americans after the war
definitely worth watching and more young people should watch to understand what the War was like
