Josh driving himself to the airport

It's such a minor thing but I don't get it. Is he going to Africa for a week and just leaving their truck in the airport parking lot? Is someone picking it up later? I'm assuming they are limited in terms of vehicles so how can he just drive one off to the airport for an indefinite amount of time? IT MAKES NO SENSE!

People drive themselves to the airport all the time and leave it in long term parking or an off site parking lot with complimentary shuttle. It is quite common. I've done it more than a dozen times, so makes perfect sense to me.

Always did it for work and company paid for it.
