Is it just me? The whole family looks like o

It looks like one big un happy family!

It looks like all the wives hate eatch other! Brady is chasing his dream life style but it doesn't work out for him. And the older kids are counting the day's they can leave home.

The wives arn't even sisterwive's in the meaning of sisters / best friends / really good friends/ good friends or just friends! The women arn't even friends! We will never see Paulie and Rosemary going out for a lunch... So why marrying the same guy?

Can someone explain it too me?

reply

of course they're NOT happy.

That's what happens when you don't follow God's plan for what it means to have a normal, healthy family.

That family is perverted.

It's immoral to have more than one "wife," which I use loosely.

They're really his mistresses living in sin while his wife looks the other way.

It's honestly repulsive.

reply

Those women are unhappy because of the way their husband treats them. A husband, whether in a monogamous or polygamous marriage, is supposed to listen to, care, and love his wife. There are some instances in their reality show were Brady expressed contempt for his wives as well as total disregard to their feelings.

I strongly believe he should have never entered a polygamous marriage since he doesn't know how to treat one woman (as well as several) with the love and respect that they need.

That's what happens when you don't follow God's plan for what it means to have a normal, healthy family.

You do know that many people in the bible (before and after Christ) had multiple spouses right? Big daddy pimp of them all, King Solomon, had over 300 wives and concubines.

Several religious leaders in the past had several wives and concubines (or in today's language "mistresses").

Yes, polygamy by today's standard is disgusting and repulsive. However, don't act like God was totally against it in the first place.

reply

He was against it from the beginning. People just did what they wanted to do.

reply

Exactly. God doesn't encourage polygamy anywhere in the Scriptures.
