Ok so not exactly Lombard and Tubbs.

Someone stated on the Poldark board how they loved the interaction between Tubbs and Lombard. I completely agree that was one of the highlights of And Then There were none.

I would love to see a show with Burn Gorman and Aidan Turner do something else together... especially if they were a detective duo.

👋That was me. I thought Burn Gorman and Aidan Turner played very well off each other. Throw in Toby Stephen's Armstrong to the mix and it was even better. The three brought a wonderful mix of humor, pathos and horror when they interacted as a unit. I wished there more victims so we could see more of them playing detective. I would totally love to see a project with Turner and Gorman as partners - detectives would work very nicely.

I'd watch anything with Burn Gorman (he seriously pops up in everything these days I love it) and Aidan Turner. So putting them together would be a dream team.

Side note: My sisters and I refer to Burn Gorman as "Owen" because we first knew him from torchwood. So it was very confusing trying to discuss And Then There Were None.

More like Gorman as the straight cop and Turner the crook, just like here--but they have to work together.

Not to go way off topic, but why did Lombard refer to Blore at "Tubbs"? I love the book and the movie is great but I don't get this.
Back on track, Lombard and Blore make a very fine duo!

Probably just for *beep* and grins. I can't find anything that said it's part of general slang (like "taking the piss" is for "making a joke").

I don't really understand the fascination over Aidan Turner. I understand it has something to do with the POLDARK remake. My favourite actor was the girl playing Vera.

I'm going to assume that you are male by that comment.

Aidan Turner is seriously sexy, sensual, charming, and funny. Poldark brought him the media attention but the man has been oozing sex since his Being Human days, not to mention being one of "the hot dwarfs" from The Hobbit. Plus, he seems like a genuinely nice guy, a lot of his behind the scenes and candid pictures are him smiling or laughing, the fans who have met him state he is almost unfailingly gracious, humorous, and pretty humble, all of which add to the sexy factor.

Aidan Turner is one handsome and talented man. I had not heard of him before the Poldark reboot but you bet I have made it a point to watch his earlier work, and to see him going forward.
