Episode 5 redeemed the show a bit.
They finally included the zombies and the infamous bloater.
I just hope they keep this intensity.

shareI wouldn’t say bad. I give it props to the good acting and writing.
But it was not honoring the source material. It was a becoming a show about Zombies without Zombies.
In this episode we finally get the tension and despair that this show is supposed to have.
As I told my wife, for the episode and series to redeem itself we should see either a large swath of the infected or a bloater. Thankfully, we got both.
I was ok, but they did that very typical movie/TV show trope where 2 groups fight and become perfectly meshed into evenly spaced duels while main characters are able to move thru the brawl unscathed.
That whole scene lasted like 5 minutes while it should have been over in fewer than 15 seconds with survivors scattered and running for their lives.
