shareI hope that isn't true. How would one understand the plot if 40% is in a foreign language only 18% speak? Maybe it's Make Mexico Great Again by handing the US to Mexico, including the conquered (not stolen/sold) states.

Subtitles do tend to look rather awful on the movie screen, but I can see why people who have little or no knowledge of the Spanish language would be bothered by the lack of subtitles here.
shareI remember the Shogun mini-series did the same thing. It was supposed to show how confusing things seemed to the Englishman but it became annoying (future versions had an off-screen narrator saying what the Japanese were saying. Also, I think cassettes and DVDs eventually included subtitles).
Especially the atrocious Spanish that Puerto Ricans tend to speak.
