shareThere is no good reason to remake West Side Story. It's not going to be anywhere near as good as the original. It's not going to make its budget back. And unless the cast is all black it won't get any awards.
shareI agree with you, trevorh321. I'm deadset against remakes of great older classic movies anyhow, especially something like the original 1961 film version of West Side Story. That being said, I plan on voting my pocketbook and boycotting Spielberg's reboot/remake of the film version of West Side Story. Inotherwords, I plan on NOT going to see it at all, when it hits the movie theatres next year.
