Why would two vegans, who wouldn't eat any kind of animal dairy products, have a dream of owning an organic dairy farm?

This just struck me as weird.

First they establish they're both vegans, then they show them milking the cow at the farm, then when Lisa Whelchel's character Wendy is planning their wedding she specifically tells the person making the wedding cake "it has to be vegan, so no milk, cheese or butter".

I was wondering that the whole time! At first i thought they just said farm, so i thought they were growing things. Then they went to a dairy farm. Most vegans i know wouldn't want to own one, the point of being vegan is so you aren't using these animals for that purpose.

LOL. Your post was funny and it is so true. The Vegan/Dairy Farm thing went over my head somehow and I usually pick up on those kinds of details.

Plus, this movie formula could have easily turned into a Romeo & Juliet type - children's romances ruined from parents' conflicts. Glad children of modern times dared to stand up to their parents. Good thing Hallmark reflected the modern day lives.

You think Hallmark is modern? hahahaha? They have lily white actors, never a homosexual, women who aren't complete without a man in their life to show them the way.

Geez, these stories and actors are straight out of the 50s. The women only work because they don't have a man to support them yet.

But I'm much better now.

they just did not put much thought into this.....the dairy farm was odd...and the fishing as a bonding was odd also.....never mentioning catch and release...do they eat the fish? vegans do not. plus getting married after 2 months.....sounds like they just have not thought it through....or maybe they don't know what a vegan is?

Are you serious? That is hilarious! All movies have flaws - nobody is perfect - but that is quite the glaring error.
