when they wanted to send that van to the paint shop the one guy noticed the obvious. this van needed MAJOR metal work and finish! too many of these shows just blow right past that. it takes painstaking hours to get this right . paint is just a mirror it reflects what ever is done below . COUNTLESS shows pretend this doesn't matter. i liked that he didn't do all that drawing and computer CRAP chip fosse does. also i am tired of the shows where people yell and scream(bar rescue) at each other. refreshing to see people getting along with each other.

well instead of the bickering we have some *beep* who thinks he is the hot rod god bossing everyone around and nitpicking on every small detail, plus he can't trust his 'business partner' whilst he's off doing his own thing.

if anything kills this show it's him being unreasonable and petty.

i didn't get that vibe from this show.the owners understood the guys taking the truck out to the track and seem to get along with each other. i think back to AMERICAN HOT ROD with boyd coddington and dwayne THE ASS as a worst case example.

i mean rick.

he does seem to make a lot of noise but does none of the work,

true he knows his stuff but he seems to lose sight of how much money they have to spend and then he doesn't even cough it up himself it's left to chuck to take the loss 'again'.

bad business model.

remember, they get paid for this show and its all advertisement for rick. i think they are going to be okay.

yeah, rick was some what normal and even funny in ep4,

i was expecting the merc to be red not a pale purple though :P

it's improving, although the horders still look like overly attached loons :P
