If you watch this from a specific perspective, you'll quite enjoy it....

I was afraid to start watching this movie after reading the description - I mean, how could a movie about the removal of a corpse from a well be watchable?!?

Oh, what a very pleasant surprise.

And if the viewer attempts to see this through the eyes of an older, well worn, somewhat cynical, but trying to be hopeful, government worker able to understand the existence of draining absurdities in life, then the movie will be an enjoyable experience.

Not only that, Tim Robbins' character adds that needed kookiness so many weary workers that are bordering on burn out need so much of.

Benicio Del Toro is excellent as that world weary but wise veteran worker.

It's not a comedy, but a bittersweet drama that adds the inanities of real life that drive so many senseless.........

This movie is somewhat like No Man's Land....(about the insanity of trying to remove a body from a mine in a war zone).....
