Shame this film seems to have received little attention

Whilst I agree somewhat with sitenoise's review that Exit turned flat in its later stages, I wouldn't say it was akin to watching paint dry. Exit offered an intriguing insight into Ling-tzu's characterisation through an engaging screenplay and a pivotal use of mise en scene that was Ling-tzu's apartment block. The long shots of Ling-tzu conducting various chores within this run down setting perfectly captured her bleak existence.

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.
