The US one is the only "failure" thus far

The Italian version is huge there. French and German versions planned. Russian version in Post Production. More versions for other countries coming.

I really really really wish we had a version that more closely followed the original Catalan template.

They should try again. Same cast, but better writing.

People should stop wanting everything on TV to be violent and filled with sex and bad language all the time. Then we could still have it here in the US

I think the bigger issue is there are so many medical dramas, and there just wasn't a serious market for this on network TV. ABC Family would probably have been a better place for this show.
