I'm really looking forward to this

But from what I've read it doesn't sound like it'll pick up where Ju-On 2 left off. You know, with Kayako putting her spirit into a little girl to be reborn.

Saw this last week. I think the new one was really good and full of intense terror although there were almost old (classic) tricks from the past Ju-on series.

The story went through the period before and after the Saeki family moved into the house and gave Toshio a brand new place in the whole tragedy.

The haunting scene I've seen got me hooked. I was afraid it was gonna be another ''Sadako 3D'' or a ''The Grudge 3'' but since it's written by Taka Ichise, I trust on it.

It's just a rehash of the first movies. Not worth spending time on.

you can put it between the 2 and 3 movie, or see it has a single reboot. and it´s the second worst of all the franchising movies. i´ts not a "bad" movie, i just had very high expectations.

I already made a topic on this but... this one ignores the canon of Juon 1 and 2. Its a remake..
