documentary

i'm very surprised how deserted this board is, this has gotten alot of attention atleast in sweden, the two 2014 documentaries has got totally opposite standpoints, this was the one i was going to get and i weren't even sure about checking out the other, which i happened to see first, and that one is more moving, definitely funnier and wilder as the title says, more interesting and delivers tons of more clips from many of the different movies, also a poster of a bud spencer movie which i presume never got made, but coming through in both documentaries is the passion for film making by menahem, kind of like an ed wood vibe, but i didn't like how he got offensive with the woman interviewing him when she tried to get him to give an honest picture of the company (which i guess you get in the other documentary), but you can totally understand from the image you have gotten of him that he was the kind of person who didn't want to go into that, you just got to love his non stop movie making not even leaving time to reflect, whats happening around him, or sometime even put enough time into one movie before starting on another, and say what you will about cannon as an adult, but as a teen seems all of us was hooked on these movies. by the end of this, he shows different new movie scripts that he's finished, one being a sequel to the 1988's adventure "allan quatermain and the lost city of gold", i'd love to see that with cassandra peterson reprising her role, i think seeing the second documentary first was the best way to view these.

you set the mood of the day,
have me fly in the sky or in the gutter lay,
i've been north and south,
haven't seen a girl with that same energy you've got,
you left your prints on my mind,
as you leave me in the dust and don't think about it twice,
and since you left me behind,
you've set the mood for the rest of my life.

Electric Boogaloo is far superior to this one. Go-Go Boys is a bit slow and shallow. Still worth a watch, but Electric Boogaloo captures the madness of Cannon a lot better.
