Yes, I don't think even Ron would deny that, hence George Cornell's insult "fat poof" jibe, which didn't end well for him. The movie was a stylised, idealised version of the twins - I think two hours of their thuggish, monosyllabic grunting would have been unwatchable.

Yup, Ronnie was fatter, reportedly an effect of his meds.

In Legend, Tom looks stockier as Ronnie. Puffed out cheeks, slight padding, double breasted suits all helped..but he chiefly did it with his carriage.

Tom was freaking huge as that guy. I came online to see if it was padding or what because when they were side by side it was like wtf man he was huge and did u see those hands omg.

This is insane!!! This is advertised as to be the most accurate story of the Krays! The director,casting director, producers etc couldnt find these same photo's? They definitely made a huge mistake by not casting 2 different Actors. Though they are identical twins, they look different enough where they could have used 2 different actors.
