Have to watch it twice to understand the accents

I actually had to come to IMDB to see if Tom was playing both parts he's that good in it. And I thought, if he's actually playing both parts, this is one heck of an editing job, probably the best I've ever seen.
Alas, the accents are so thick that it's hard to understand some of the dialogue, never mind that there's lots of slang, and the Brits have a way of tuning a phrase. Luckily IMDB has tons of Movie Quotes which help to decipher what's being said.
I liked this movie so much I gave it a 9 and will enjoy watching it again in the future.
I saw Hardy play another role, as a bartender, it's unbelievable how varied his characters are, and it's impossible from just watching on screen to figure out what kind of guy he is when he's not acting. I'll have to go see him doing an interview now. Cheers.

Tom hardy is a brilliant actor. Especially in this. The bartender movie was called the drop I think. It's kinda slow and pointless but honestly the ending made the whole movie to me and I ended up really liking it. I knew he was that type of dude too in the drop the whole movie he was playin a quiet soft timid guy but I knew he wasn't haha

I also had a very difficult time being able to understand the dialogue so I turned on the subtitles option.

I keep wanting to give this movie a chance, but find I play with the volume button on the remote to keep raising and lowering the volume to no avail - I still have such a hard time understanding them. I understand it is based mostly in London, and filmed through England, but wow. I think I could understand Trainspotting better. I wonder if the British have as hard a time understanding some of the American accents, like deep south.
