Fantastic even fir a non Cilla Fan

The sets ans script and acting are top notch. I expect awards Sheridan Smith really nails it and sings better than the real Cilla.

Yes I agree. I've enjoyed the whole series. U get the impression she definitely wore the trousers. And Bobby clearly adored her. Good acting from everyone. I wonder what the real Cilla made of it all.

Fantasic stuff. Best thing on TV this year.

Easily better (and more fun) than Downton Abbey. :-)

Being American, I'd never heard of her but very much enjoyed it. Sheridan was excellent and did sound great. I watched Cilla on youtube after and agree, was maybe even better, though judging the sound on all videos may not be completely fair. She also had her mannerisms down. Really well done!

Did you just watch it on AcornTV? I did. I was raised in the same era as Cilla Black was popular, and I loved this series. Sheridan Smith did a fantastic job of acting and singing.I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm from England but live in Arizona. Cilla was a British icon, and it was a terrible thing to hear of her death from a fall. She'll be greatly missed.

Yes, I did watch it on Acorn. It is my favorite streaming channel. I was born in the U.S. but should have been born in England! LOL. I binged all 3 episodes then watched all of "Our Zoo" 6 straight episodes on PBS.org! All yesterday, lol! All night everyone in my dreams had English accents! ;)

Hahaha......Yes we just got Acorn about 7 or 8 months ago.....My wife and I moved here from Brighton, England in 1980. We were in our early 20's. we love Acorn and have binge watched many series. I especially like the Miss Fisher mysteries, and the Miss Marple shows. A lot of those shows on Acorn we watched when we were kids in England!!!! They bring back memories.I'm so pleased you found that channel and enjoy it. If you like to watch live British TV on your smart TV or computer, here is a website I use all the time. The second link is for the Radio Times website, which is just the schedule for the TV shows.Click on the Union Jack and it'll show you all the channels available. I tried watching a Swedish channel, but I don't speak Swedish!!!! Anyway, It's also fun to watch the British TV commercials. Any of the BBC or ITV channels are good, channel 4 is good, and if you're younger than 35 or so, you'll like Euro 4.Let me know what you think. It's free and you DON'T have to setup an account. If you see something tat says sign in, ignore it. It's just an ad. I have adblock on my laptop so I didn't see it, but it showed up on my TV, and I just ignored it, and the channels played just great.
