so 2 inmates escape and the 2 grandparents havent visited the hospital, and no one is investigating this ?

Exactly! And 2 employees from the same hospital came to the house at that. Also why didn't the police get involved with the missing grandparents?

I guess it's just me. Who the hell would send their children to visit their parents who they themselves haven't seen or talked to in 15 years, alone ??

I agree with the last comment, the only stupid in this movie is the mother, why she sent/allowing her 2 children to go to people that she didn't speak for 15 years, plus her children didn't even know how their grandparents faces look like...
