Oprah's website for this show won't post my opinion...

In regards to the 3rd episode, this is what I tried commenting (It said the comment would be reviewed, but never saw it up and saw other comments put up that same day. Guess cause it was a comment about the people behind the show and Oprah):

If this is a documentary, why is the production crew on the actual show itself. Shouldn't they be behind the scenes? I just don't get why the production crew is being filmed and why they're making comments on a documentary, when they're the ones that are suppose to be behind the scenes filming a documentary on somebody. The purpose of airing the content of the third episode seemed like the crew and Oprah just wanted to punish Lindsay for screwing up production of the show (which I understand the irritation, but just seemed unprofessional to address on the show itself. For example, if someone had a complaint about the progress of the show or a complaint about an obligation based on what's on the contract, then it should be addressed behind the scenes in a professional manner, not airing  it for ratings and all to see). It seemed more like Oprah was irritated with Lindsay for screwing up production than genuinely caring for Lindsay and her getting better, because the first thing Oprah addressed was the show itself. And she made Lindsay seem as if by proving she can do the show, Lindsay will show progress in life. Not defending Lindsay, just annoyed of how Oprah acts like she wants to help Lindsay, when obviously they're out for saving the network and for ratings. And annoyed that there's so much behind the scenes of the show and discussion of the show itself in that episode.

Good comment, but I think by now EVERYONE knows the number one motivation for Oprah having the show is to help her network ratings. Let's see if they will post your comment.
