It really did happen. I'm not saying it was true demonic possession, but some kind of incident happened with a woman named Anna Ecklund, that people believe to be demonic. the article below is from 2011.

The point is not whether some woman had a psychotic episode but how this movie ever got made. It is absolutely awful. Script, acting, direction, all abysmal. If you have to do another exorcism film at least bring something new to the table. This is derivative rubbish of the worst sort.

Who gives a 5hite if it happened?! We all know there's no such things as demons, devils or gods. All I care about if it's gonna be any good... which I doubt. Mr. Jones isn't quite the auteur that he wishes he was.

It's a ridiculous attitude, that just because you aren't interested in some movie, then you think it shouldn't exist at all.

The movie makers don't owe you anything. They don't exist as a service to you. They make the movies they are interested in, or that they think can make them money. If you don't like their product, don't buy it. There are plenty of other ones to choose from.

The movie maker do in fact owe us something, and they do exist as a service to us, hence why they make money of it. Now if we stole it, we might not have the right to complain, but if we actually paid for this then we paid for a service that they owe us. If they fail to deliver that service then it can be argued that it shouldn't exist at all. Further, the thing about movies is, that unless you steal it and watch it before buying, then you're not gonna know if you like it before you spend money on it, which makes it a scam. So your ridicule attitude is that nobody should complain about being scammed because the movie makers are just doing what they feel like or trying to rip you off which is apparently perfectly acceptable in your world. The people who made this should be happy if anybody bothers stealing it and waste more than ten minutes of their life watching it, because those ten minutes are worth far more than this movie is. Those ten minutes are far better spent on explaining to you why you're wrong.

I need someone to perform an exorcism on me after watching this movie.

Yes it did happen. The priest wrote a large pamphlet. I just read it on The Lineup website that has a link to the (lengthy) pamphlet. Pretty crazy stuff. Her dad was a piece of work, so was her dad's mistress.
