What happened to Hazel?

When what's his face got knocked out. Hazel was there. When he came to, she'd gone. I couldn't make out what he said when he looked out of the window. I also didn't see her again. What happened?

She was dead in the corridor on the other side of the doors that they tried to seal off earlier. She had the cardboard sign on her that said "we've got one of yours" or whatever.

When he is knocked out you can hear the residents who broke in asking her for the anti-virus and her saying she didnt have it/ did not know where it was. Like the above poster said, Mark later sees her dead in the hall way with the sign around her neck, my guess is the residents murder her.
