Anyone care to explain the ending?
They collected the kids and only the kids after a virus outbreak. Why? I doubt it was the obvious reason that they are children and should be protected.
shareA better question would be - how did they ever think anyone would go along with this crap?
Anyhow, I don't think they were specifically collecting kids. The strategy, if you can call it that, was to nullify everybody (including kids) in and around the contaminated area but for reason unexplained, hoover up any kids they find roaming around outside the cordon. There's no logic to that because the kids would only grow up and start asking questions.
One thing that struck me was that all the kids were around the same age, so why was that? What age would they have to be before they failed the age test?
...it's just another dumb film, get over it.
