This show has gotten its hooks into me, unlike most conventional (i.e., Hollywood) series. I find myself wondaring what’s next for Andre and Hinricker. Does anyone know if a 3rd season is planned?
Got a question - In S1, Andre was police chief of the small town, but now Hinricker is, and Andre has been ‘brought in” to work on the case with her. What is his status now, roving homocide detective?
Andri was promoted and is working in Reykjavik. If you remember from the end of last season, his ex-wife and daughters were moving there so I guess he decided to go too to be near his daughters. Of course, his oldest got into trouble so she was sent back to the little town which we find out about at the beginning of season 2.
Anyway, Andri is asked to go to the little town to assist with the investigation because that's where he's from and he's familiar with the town and its inhabitants. That actually happens in real life quite a bit in law enforcement.
