Trapped will make its Season 2 debut in fall 2018.

Damn really right? Blasphemy! That's like over 2 years between seasons what are trying to do to us? Lol I'm sure it will be great and worth the wait. It wasn't intentional it's due to the extremely busy schedule of the main guy who makes it all happen, Baltasar Kormakur.

I'd remind you guys when it airs, but my mouthpiece is getting choked by censorship.

This is the best entertainment news have heard this year. Started watching on Amazong Prime on a whim. Unlike most othar serie started, watched all of Season 1. Then re-watched because, IMO, was most enjoyable show in years. Currently going thru for 3rd time. Delighted there will be an additional season.

Finding several reasons this show excels compared to customary Hollywood fluff. One thing, not action oriented, because show spends enough time for full blown character development instead of caricatures and typecast cliches. The three main characters are each flawed, likeable, & wanted to know more about them. Verr different & interesting enviroment for location. Verr reminiscent of Fortitude, anothar arctic circle location serie.

A thing that only became aware of after a couple viewings, this show uses a luxuriant amount of time focused close-up on faces. Probalby too slow paced a technique for mainstreme audiences, but adds immense depth to the characters here.

Because is not standar Hollywood product, there are many little surprises that keep the viewer guessing. For instace, when Andri realizes Asgeir leaked his report to the press & confronts him, expectation was Asgeir would be fired or told to transfer somewhere else. Instead, Andri looks at him for a moment & tells him to file the report where it belongs. Another, when Hinrika’s husband is reassuring the eldar sex slave that she and her sister are safe, expectation was he would make a pass, maybe evan rape. Instead, the two wish each othar a good night.

And perhap much of appeal is begause the creators of this show are damn good, and knew what they were doing. Would hope to see more product of equivalent quality from them become available.

That's cool, this show is very good, and it is so nice to not see the same old faces in a TV show ... it makes me wish that we could get rid of the star system and let a lot of people have starring roles in good TV and movies to be fair that there are lots of people with talent in this world.
