I expected more comments on this drama,are viewing figures low?

I'm really enjoying this, a lot better than I thought it would be. Are they supposed to be making a second season?
shareMe too - six episodes in and they've kept up the pace very well!
I do hope there isn't going to be a second season, though: I'd rather they didn't try to extend/dilute what, so far, has been a rattling good series.
Highly relieved to find that there is to be a second season after the last episode left everything completely in the air. So now I can stop spluttering, "so we're supposed to make up our own ending are we?!"
shareBut that's like life itself - everything up in the air! I'd be delighted if I could believe that a second series would be as good as (better than?!) the first, but how often does that happen?

Ep.1) 595,000 viewers = 4th most watched show on BBC4 (week ending 28th June)
Ep.2) 448,000 viewers = 9th most watched show on BBC4 (week ending 28th June)
Ep.3) ??? = Cordon dropped out of the top 10 listing for BBC4.
The 10th placed programme for BBC4 week ending 5th July was the movie "The Jackal" which got 377,000 viewers so Cordon must have got below that.
I've been watching it and loved it so far.

Just can't understand this! And it's been largely ignored on the reviews front ...
Yet it's kept up its cracking pace, and I'm sure I will think of it fondly, even if it falters at the finale hurdle.
Fantastic series. I wasn't expecting much but after watching ep1 I was intrigued and truly interested in all the characters. Would recommend this to everyone.
shareI am hooked and the series is a lot of fun. I am always interested to see what happens in the next episode. Some of the characters do some dumb things but that is a well known trope.

I'm in the UK: on which channel is it? I cannot even find the DVD of the first season. I'm watching the US remake on E4 and I'd like to see the original version.
