What REALLY Ruined This Show...

...was the decision to put it on NBC.
The Nothin But Crap network. They drop the ball on every show half-decent or better. Why does anyone even bother going to them with show ideas anymore?

A- NBC-Universal CO-OWNS THE PROPERTY with Tim Kring. That means they get first pass on ANY Heroes project, and also can approve or deny any novels/comics/video games/other media/toys/etc created based on this property.

B- NBC tried to restart the comic a few years back withOUT telling Kring. They had an artist and writer already working on it with at least two finished issues before they announced it. Kring found out and killed the project. This eventually lead to talks that turned into Zeroes Rescorned.

C- what would have helped is if Kring had at least one person on his team that was NOT a "Yes Man" to all his ideas and could caution him on $#itty plot derailments like making the twins CLAIRE!s and whatever else nuclear trainwrecked this series.

D- before you even say it, NBC-U also owns several other networks, like G4 (which had been airing mini-marathons), USA, and syfylys. I believe they also have a stake in Hulu? (which would explain why they keep SNL off any other video service.)

NBC sucks. All they care about is police procedurals and they're obsessed with taking months long breaks between episodes.

Umm......the writing.

The writing was atrocious. Worse than Heroes, the writing was really bad. No getting around that fact. It's as if, no scratch that, it is factually present that the writers learned absolutely nothing from their previous failures.

100% correct. Nothing to do with NBC, everything to do with the quality of the show.

You people and your slight differences disgust me.
