I'd definitely want telekinesis, cause it would actually allow you to do so much more than just move things, like fly, super strength, super speed, create a barrier around yourself and be nearly invulnerable, be able to control the elements, and if you did get hurt would be able to heal yourself and probably be able to heal others too and i'm sure there's more things you could do that's all thats just coming to mind, but what would you want.

hell I'm just sayin in general doesn't have to be just in the hero's universe and hell just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't exist in that universe, look at the guys from chronicle and all they could do and they had only just scratched the surface to what they could do, and also nowhere in there did i see anything about what power you would want just saying lol
sharePeter's original power Emphatic Mimicry or whatever is the called it is by far the best. You can have literally any power that is out there just be being near them and without the drawbacks of Sylar's "hunger".
Barring Peter's, Sylar's, Hiro's, and Arthur's powers because they're OP I'd probably go with Micah's power. With that power I could win the lottery whenever I wanted and/or go to Vegas and make a ton of money playing slots, video poker, video roulette, etc. Then I could donate part of winnings to various charities.
The only thing about Peters power especially in the original series was the evos where unknown so didn't know who had a power or what power they had so would have been harder to obtain more powers, if it hadn't been for the events of the first season he would have only had his mom's and his brothers power cause they were the only ppl he would have been around that we knew had a power, but in the new series the scouts evos are documented so he could just look and his what power was out there he needed and go obtain it which yea would be cool, don't get me wrong still think Peters power is bad ass guess it would have draw backs like how he obtained too many powers and it was over loading him and get really dangerous powers that he wouldnt know how to control, and again still a cool power just I would want tk, and yea didn't think about winning all the money with michas power lol
sharethats not how his powers worked. he didn't require knowledge of who was an Evo. if he came in the presence of someone he could gain access to there powers. claude(invisibility) was just walking past peter while invisible and he gained access to the powers. in time peter would have simply been able to activate his abilities and gain access to any ability with in range. and know what powers he attained in time he likely would have been able to sense who was an evo
shareI didn't say anything about him needing to acquire knowledge of who an evo was, I just saying would have been easier for him to get powers now since pretty much all evos are documented, so if he needed a certain power he could find it easier now than when the series first began
shareI'd want telepathy, but it would have to be really powerful. Look through other peoples eyes, or even animals, take full over control over anybody or just go along for the ride. Project my image, or any image I could come up with into everybody around, and cloak myself and other things. Would be nice if it was really long distance to, so I could keep my real body in a fortress in space or under the ocean or something. Maybe even learn to not need a body at all and just exist in the minds of everybody else, know everything, feel everything, see, hear and taste everything all at once all the time. I know that means I'd have to die hundreds of horrible deaths every minute, be borne thousands of times a day and all that, but I'd also be able to direct the world to become how I wanted it. And if I could understand everybody and feel all of their pain and pleasure all the time, then the world I would build would benefit everyone as I'd more then likely wanna eliminate as much suffering as possible while maximizing pleasure. My selfishness would end up benefiting everyone if I was everyone after all :P
shareSounds good to me. Plus, if you learned how to channel it correctly, you could use it to "teleport" short distances. Except for this use and the speed, I've read about telekinesis being used all the ways you listed, so "mimicking" other powers sounds very doable.

you would never be able to teleport via telekinesis. not unless you it was somehow so strong you could forcibly fold space in a manner that it appeared to be teleportation
shareTk is essentially mind over matter and your only real limitation would be your imagination, yea sure in the beginning wouldn't be that strong but over time would grow like any muscle that was worked out
shareThat's why I had "teleport" in quotes, to imply that I would APPEAR to teleport, but would actually be doing something else. (In this scenario...double telekinetic shield around me, with the outer one stretched to where I wanted to be and a vacuum between the shields. Use telekinesis to move from A to B quickly <pick a fast speed that would look like you "disappear" from one place and "reappear" in another> and safely.)

id want Nathan petrellis power of flight, driving scares me(its an autism thing), but teleportation wouldn't be bad, id also want lendermans power to heal, id love to be able to fix my mom, and cause wounded warriors to heal, especially if they lost body parts in wars, time travel would be good but id just use it to go back in time and prevent myself from being born, or go back in time and remove my father from the picture with extreme prejudice.
