I hope it comes back for a 3rd season!

I hope it comes back for a 3rd season! Sure...some of it is fluff...but I quite enjoy this show!!!

I hope so too. This is one of my favorite shows on aliens. I'm not sure why it gets so much ridicule on this board. It's interesting to hear about all the cases MUFON investigated. I hope they at least do re-runs, since I missed the first third of the season.

It might have to do with the fact the people on the show can't be objective. They state things as if they are fact when a lot of it is unsubstantiated. I like the show for what it is but it would get more respect if they just laid out the cases and didn't throw out wild speculations as if they are fact.

For example ,they interviewed the military guy who claims he was a communicator or some crap between the aliens and the government. He even goes as far as to say he helped aliens escape custody and yet he doesn't give us any info on the aliens or about their ships that according to him he spent extensive time around. Then the show starts saying all this stuff is true when it could just the lies of a man desperate for fame and attention.

The original UFO Files was actually good and didn't lie and claim lies as facts.

Yeah, that guy seemed suspect to me too. If he really helped an alien escape a supermax government lockdown facility there's no way he'd see the light of day again. But he gets off with barely even a warning? He's an outlier though. Most of the cases they talk about involve normal everyday people. I like just hearing about peoples' experiences of seeing lights in the sky. A lot of the ones with police officers seem credible to me.

It's a nice fantasy show. I've only just started watching and figured out pretty early on that it was going to be nothing more than the reality TV version of The National Enquirer. I had to stop the show for almost a full 10 minutes because I couldn't stop laughing; particularly the bit where they claim that Nixon took Gleason to a secret room in a military base to show him aliens and while there's no record of that event, they know it happened. There just seems to be a lot of 'there's no record of that event but we know it happened' and 'he/she/it claimed'. For all the talk about there's so much evidence, why aren't we seeing any evidence? It's just all so much hot air, like the ubiquitous weather balloons.
