PROOF the show is fake with all actors

I totally agree, a waste of time and completely fake and scripted. I am from south Louisiana right where they are filming and this is a joke. There is no such thing going on and bodies are not found eaten up in the swamp by some creature. Bodies are found shot or drowned on the other hand, not this unrealistic bs the history channel wants people to believe. Sure, our grandparents tried to scare us with the Rougarou stories of a shapeshifter that looked more like a wolf or werewolf not a bigfoot that was part evil spirit but no one believes that bs anymore. As for the cast, they are all actors and if they wanted it to look real, they would have used the locals. Luc Baptiste is Britt George an actor from Orlando, Florida who played in True Blood, Dexter, Boston Legal, Supernatural, For Love and Country. Jules D'Entremont is Jimmy Lee Jr. another actor who played on Catch 44, The Iceman and Shark Night 3-D, even Deputy Lambert is a fake and is the obvious James Ricker II from Maine who played in "This Is The End", "Oblivion" with Tom Cruise. Tammany D'Entremont is the actress Rachel Whittle who plays in Beautiful Creatures, Abraham Lincoln:Vampire Hunter, and G I Joe Retalliation. Even the old man with the long beard who claims to be a local is actually an actor name Avon Maser who played in Looper and The Campaign with Will Ferral along with the movies The Colony, Final Destination, Storage Hunters (he's Jebediah on Storage Hunters, so this is scripted too). And Dr. Hans Schmidt is played by John Wettermark who is the actor who is from Mobile Alabama and later moved to New Orleans. He actually played on "Dallas Buyers Club" with Matthew McConaughey as one of the hospital board members. There is no missing body or to make it really outrageos, a body that got up from the morgue and walked off. I had to laugh at that one.

Thank you mwt ... hopefully soon all the so called "Reality" shows, on the useless POS channel that still has the nerve to be called HISTORY, will be exposed for the fake, lies and frauds they are.

Well put Rachel, I guess some people don't, or cannot read. At the beginning of each episode, not to mention after each commercial, their is a disclaimer that states "This is a dramatization". I mean really, come on you guys it is a TV show for entertainment. You can always change the channel. This guy (mwt44112123) must have really liked the show well enough, to spend so much time searching each actor and their credits. Wow. That just amazed me, that he would go to such extremes. He must like to watch, he quoted something from at least three different episodes. I guess next, he will say that "Star Wars" and "Spider Man" are fake also. Oh, and by the way, to Mr.(mwt44112123) I'am also part of the cast, and I was born and raised right here in the beautiful state of Louisiana.

Hi! I watched this show from start to finish. It had me fooled, but I sure enjoyed it. And that last episode with the K-9, well, I almost jumped out of my seat because it truly was a surprise ending for me.

A the beginning of each episode, they say "dramatization" but it could still be based on actual events, yes?

Even now, I'm not sure whether any of those people were actually found murdered, but I don't see why it couldn't have happened. I lived in FL and people routinely got lost in the woods or turned up dead. And not from a swamp beast, usually from drug deals gone bad, robbery or family feuds. I did try looking up some of the names to see if anything turned up in the news, and all I found was Mary Jagneaux for something related to property issues.
As to whether I believe in Rougarou or Big Foot, until science tells us otherwise, who is to say what's real and what isn't???
You guys did a great job acting. I especially enjoyed listening to the gentleman who was the local "folklore" expert.

American folklore is an important part of our history. I find all the myths and legends quite interesting, and I love the format they chose (reenactment) because it really brings the legend to life in a fun way for the viewer.

But no one's expecting people to believe it any more than they would believe a horror movie, or a sci-fi film...

bet it took a good chunk of your life doing all that hard research and typing all that out. you know you cant get that time back right? lol

reply

You are such an idiot, really, hard research? I didn't have to do any research at all. It's all right here on this site with one click of a button. Took no time at all, idiot. Didn't take up any time at all. Pull up the show and each actors bio with where they are from is listed under the show's cast. All the names are fake, including the people they say that have died. You will not find any news articles of the people they claim have died on this show. It was my spouse who is from Georgia who was watching the show when I walked in and I was very surprised at all the bs that was being said. I personally do not care for the reality shows that claim to be filmed in South Louisiana because most of it is fake.

I just watched a couple minutes of it and was blown away with how fu**ing fake it is. It's insulting! Within seconds you can tell that poser is acting, and it's on the HISTORY CHANNEL!! Sure reality t.v. is fake, we all know that but this just went full retard with it. I only tuned in because someone said there was actual footage of some guy getting tossed around by something in the intro but I guess that's on another cryptid show. But of course they can just pass it off as a re-enactment just like they pass off anything ever made by human hands as history. Sorry, I should be sleeping and not typing.

How many times are you going to cut and paste your rant. You must be a complete moron because clearly everyone knows the show isn't real accept you thought it actually was and now feel the need to point out that its not real. LOL. Whats a moron.

This is easily the best documentary series to be on in decades. I'm looking forward to more evidence captured by the scientists and videographers risking their lives to follow those brave heros from "Cagin Beasts". I can hardly wait for season 2. I've already seen a few news stories on CNN presenting the latest footage from the depths of the south. It's sure to turn the cryptozoology world upsidown.

reply

what are you 5150, another one of the cast trying to get people to watch the show. The moron is the one who says that CNN has news stories with footage of this. Another lie in the endless lies put on this show. And as I stated in my comments if you didn't read them, my spouse is from Atlanta and was watching the first show and thought it was real because the ads were saying it was based on fact. There are no news articles or facts that prove any of this is true whatsoever. There are no brave heroes, just a bunch of idiots playing in the woods and the swamp with a camera trying to make money off of untrue bullsh#t. Now if you want to advertise it as a movie and not real, then fine, no problem. But don't make people think that there is some creature killing the people of South Louisiana. We have enough shootings doing that. How about tell a story that's really true. How the evacuees from New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina invaded the Houma area that was so peaceful and have turned it into a drug infested, criminal haven for the murderers who left New Orleans. The place has now just as many murders as New Orleans. Someone gets shot everyday. This was a very peaceful and serene place to live before Katrina. Drugs have taken over and so have the gangs and dealers. Even witnesses to court cases are being killed.
