So what?!

Ya know... I gotta admit... when I first stumbled across this show, I was intrigued. Yeah... I went online to find out if it was real or not... and I found out.
But ya know... I gotta say, I don't really care. Because regardless... it's effin entertaining, in my opinion. Even after checking it out online, and reading all of the posts 'nay-saying'... I still like watching it, because I think it's well done for what it is.
Sometimes ya gotta just let go of this quest for establishing fact or fiction, and just enjoy.
If nothing else, it's fun watching all of these superstitious people running around like heads with the chickens cut off.
I was reading other comments where ppl were evidently pissed that this show was on the History Channel... this show having nothing to do with history. Yeah... at one time, that kinda thing griped me too. I couldn't get passed the Scy Fy channel showing wrestling... go figure that one. But I imagine that in this economic climate, tv networks have to do what the have to do to stay profitable, just like everyone else.
I kinda doubt that the History Channel sent out camera crews, and produced this all on their own... although, it's possible (I really don't know).
For all I know, it may be that a production company did all of the work... enough to shoot a pilot, then, when successfully shopped, produced the other episodes... or, whatever.
I know this... the writing seemed to be quite a few notches above the typical fare... be it true or not, I find it entertaining, suspenseful, and at times... on-the-edge-of-your-seat kinda stuff.
I'd also say this... it was evidently interesting enough to get YOU, and many others to research it online. Ppl rarely go thru the trouble for something they have no interest in... right?
