Wait!!??!! This has an 8.0 rating?

Am I missing something? I mean, I too have a fond place in my heart for Saved by the Bell nostalgia, but...it ain't like she's Julia Child here.

It's gotta be the appearance of '90s era celebrities on the show like Jason Priestly, Elizabeth Berkeley and Lance Bass that people are liking.

I think people like the '90s nostalgia, as do I, but the show has a bunch of other great qualities. I think you first have to look at the show comparatively. We aren't lacking for cooking shows; however, they aren't all entertaining. Dinner at Tiffani's has a charismatic host, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, and she's so much fun to watch. She cooks easy to make, delicious-looking food. Her guests are engaging and quite hilarious. By show's end, you often find yourself wanting to have dinner at Tiffani's. Oh, and you have to love the title!

I think it helps that lots of people like 90's nostalgia, especially those who grew up in the 90's. Plus she has a good personality and makes delicious looking food that doesn't seem too hard to make for the average person watching. Plus the dinner part of each episode makes you almost feel like you are there.

Is there something you find wrong with the show? I think it's funny, cute, personable and she makes some great food and I like the concept of the show. Why compare her to someone else? Anyone can be a great cook.

the 2nd season is even better!

I'm not that familiar with her work but find Tiffani to be annoying. Her show is too theatrical and not homey enough.
