What is up with the pyro tech faking towards the end?
When the second explosive on the plane did not go off what is up with the pyro faking being hit by a shock or heat wave, and why did he roll so much?

1. What the heck was he doing walking back to the plane, after the second charge didn't go off, and the plane was still burning, what did he think was going to happen.
2. He definitely put in a few extra rolls, after the explosion went off, he was definitely exaggerating. One of the men should have offered to give him the kiss of life, that would have soon gotten him back on his feet.
My guess is, he wanted his moment to shine, and took the opportunity.
He'd been building up to the final pyrotechnic with his melodramatic this-is-real-danger speech beforehand and after the charge went off it was painfully obvious that as an afterthought he quickly went into a "man down" schtick to ensure the documentary got a climactic moment, even down to his so-called first words "Did we get the shot?".
