Will there be a second season?

Any chance that the show comes back?

reply

No offense to Under the Dome(since I watch that show also), but if shows like that can come back for multiple seasons, I don't know why something like this can't have a second season? Well I am saying this before the season finale though, so take that into account.

Quality has nothing to do with this. It's all about how many people watch it. As far as I can tell, the number of viewers for this show are quite low, so it's unlikely to be renewed.

Under the Dome was in profit before it even aired the pilot episode, due to a deal with amazon. plus add its incredible ratings, no surprise it returned and returned again with lower ratings.

this show didn't make the cut at all, hence it doesn't comtinue.

the relative quality quality of the shows doesn't matter to the excel charts.

reply

It's unlikely. It was never very highly rated and I don't know where the show can go after a few more episodes.

Once Odelle returns home to her family, that's the end of her "Odyssey".
Not sure what Odyssey there would be in a second season.

I haven't been able to find any sign on the Web that NBC has either renewed or canceled the show. As recently as last weekend, the network was officially waffling.

This isn't the greatest show; it's not even my favorite of this season. It's had some cringe-making plot turns and unbelievably stupid (as in, not credible) decisions by characters. But it's just refreshing enough to keep me interested, and if you were watching tonight, you saw how Odelle's journey can be made to continue -- sans permanent reunion with her family -- for another season.

I hope it gets one.

No way. Enough. Pull the plug.

reply

I hope so but the ratings were so low. I don't know if they will give it another season. I hope so . I hope they stream this someday .

What is Aslam's fate?

reply

He's off to Narnia.

I'm looking at the news feeds at this hour; several sites say 'decision will come today' (June 29). NBC was not happy with the ratings, of course.

But the producers certainly did leave room for some second-season plotlines. Satisfying though it was to see William's character get slugged, he's still in a position of power; there are also unanswered questions about the fates of the characters played by Facinelli and Robinson. And, yes, about Aslam.

I'd almost like to see the show renewed just to annoy the haters. (But that would be unkind.^_^)

Well, since they didn't wrap up all the storylines, it needs a second season, but since the ratings suck we won't get it. Why does NBC do this with these type of shows? Wrap up the story for god's sake! If it's a hit, you can create a new storyline for season 2.
