Harrison's wrist

Why do they keep bringing up his injured wrist
I can't recall how it was injured

He was shot during the standoff with Ruby and the cops. I don't know why they would keep bringing it up except to remind us of how Ruby died.

Sorry, came back to edit after watching the last episode. They show he was struggling with Ruby over the gun and either she scratched him or the gun injured his arm while struggling with her over control of the gun. I had not seen that scene before in the episode where Ruby was killed. It was shown as a flashback with Harrison as a repressed memory or something. Seems even Harrison didn't know how he was injured LOL.

Who knows? They'll probably turn his injury into some virus story line and the show will eventually turn into a zombie show of some sort 😷

In Harrison's most recent flashback, it was HIM who actually shot Ruby dead with a gun that he was holding (that also injured his wrist). He is now filled with guilt and has nightmares.

Okay, who really killed Ruby -- Harrison or the cops????

reply

Harrison did.

At the time, he could not face the reality that he shot her and repressed the memory, inventing in his mind that the police had done it (which was what we initially saw, from Harrison's perspective, as an unreliable narrator). As she was trying to fight him off, she gave him a nasty scratch/gouge on the wrist. He could not remember how he got it (repressed memory) and any time anyone touched it, it was painful, both physically and emotionally. When Banks told him that it was HIM (Harrison) that shot Ruby, it all came rushing back to him, causing the depression he had at the end.

Just watched this series on netflix.
The scene where ruby is at the beach and loads her gun, you see the under barrel is serrated, so during the struggle it left deep cuts.
