I watched it in Vancouver where Nas came as part of the Time Is Illmatic tour. And we watched a screening of it first. Was the audience where you watched it laughing at a lot of parts? Because the audience at mine could not stop laughing whenever Nas' brother Jungle would say anything and at some other parts.
shareYes, I viewed in Baltimore and there were many moments in the film which brought laughter across the theater. One of the reasons, I believe the film was so good was because a lot of things were relatable, and really ironic. It was funny the thought process that went through his head as he created a classic. Then, when you think about his age at the time, you could kind of reason with why things played out the way they did.
