It's so bad and I don't even mean accents or pronunciation (which are really really bad) but i would expect a character who can sing an archaic polish song to know that singular goat is "koza", while multiple is "kozy". If they won't spring for someone to coach them in reading polish lines, they could at least get them proofread
shareAgreed. I'm of Polish heritage and I thought it was cool that they threw in the language, even though I can't speak or understand it. My mom saw the episodes (she's decent at speaking simple terms and pronunciation) and was annoyed they did such a horrible job. If a character was speaking French or Spanish they'd probably speak it almost perfectly.
shareyou wanna hear bad Polish watch Sopranos, the Polish maid they have and her husband are supposed to be from Poland but what they talk is...well no language i ever heard of, watching scenes like that makes you wonder if the producers must think either that we're stupid or that no one of Polish decent will ever see it.
(there's one scene in the Sopranos that will make any Polish speaking persons ears bleed but unfortunately i don't remember exactly what episode it is. It's when the FBI bugs the Soprano residence while the maid and her husband are having a picnic in the park)
