The 20 minute rule

So I have this rule where I try to stick out a horror movie until at least the last 20 min because that is where the most action is. Like the rest of the movie is a build up to those last satisfying 20 min. I had to watch this movie in about 3 shifts because I kept falling asleep but I figured I could make it to the last 20 minutes it would all be worth it and I was horrifyingly wrong. There is nothing redeemable about this movie the characters make decisions that no normal person would ever make. Also they never explain the backstory of the mirror which I think is kind of an important part just that they saw it on eBay and people wouldn't bet on it why that would make a more compelling story. I am only picked up some of the stuff because they were British so I needed subtitles. Then I saw all the spooky noises and stuff that was supposed to be happening that I couldn't hear on the audio from Netflix. I heard a good point out that the only scary scene is ruined by the poster for the movie and I would have to agree.
