Lovely & heartwarming

A beautiful film. Maybe it wasn't perfect (sometimes the parents were over the top, but it surely was nicely executed and such a heartwarming story. So many moving moments...and the girl was simply amazing.

I would very much like to read comments from members of the deaf community. I know there is a whole Deaf culture and a strong sense of community there, and I was wondering what they think about the portrayal of the family dynamics (the bit, for example, where the mother describes how she felt when she found out that her daughter was born hearing).
