A challenge: Name another movie that's...

... more sexist than this. I can't. I was embarrassed watching these stereotypes in 2014. And this was targeted at children?!

What does that have to do with what I said?

Do you mean provide an example of a film in which women are depicted as being unable to do anything correctly without being instructed by a man? Or one where women are portrayed as having limited interests that don't apply to men? Or one in which female behavior is bizarre and ridiculous? Or did you just mean one in which the only assets women have is their sexual appeal?

Just trying to figure out if I should include or exclude two percent of all films ever made.

Change the genders and you have practically every single film from the past 40 years.
Men can't do anything right in films these days without a woman around to show them how it's done right especially when is something that men are traditionally better at.
Have to show how good a woman is by showing up men by being better at mens stuff.

How about that limited interest.
How many films are about a man trying to get laid or get the woman of his dreams?
Of course to do this he has to learn a lesson and completely change who he is and how he treats women.
Sort of feeding into women's insecurities and fragile egos that all men are dumb bastards and need to put her above all else and change for her.
Now how many films have women completely changing for a man and the message that women don't understand our treat men right?
Next to none because that's considered sexist whereas it's empowering for women to see men change for them.
That's how you know it's sexist.
If it's sexist when men do it then it's empowering for women to do the same thing.

And are you joking about women's behaviour being bizarre and ridiculous?
Women's behaviour is considered the standard in films hence why women are always rolling their eyes or using one or more of the four words they use when being respectful in films to men, stupid, jerk, idiot or moron.
Go on. Watch a film and those are the four words used by women to describe men most of the time.
Now listen out for words women use to describe men in a positive and respectful manor.
You'll be lucky to hear any.

So spare me this attitude that women are portrayed badly and men aren't *beep*
Women are portrayed top be empowering but done in a sexist way by demeaning men and this is a theme running through all films but you don't consider that to be wrong.
And are you saying that this film isn't sexist because other films are sexist against women?
But doesnt that mean that you're sexist because you're justifying sexism here.

If it's wrong one way it's wrong the other so take your feminism elsewhere
