Not my cup of tea!

It's a boring and depressing movie.

I particularly disliked the same ugly long distance view of their house on most mornings. The Fens landscape is of course not as beautiful as for instance the Cotswolds, Devon or Cornwall, but was it really necessary to show their house over and over again from that same barren looking brown field?
This morning scene taken from a road leading to their house would have looked more appealing, but the cinematographer must have had his own ideas about how to bring it to the big screen.
Oh well...

I gave it 2 stars and am amazed how many people rated it 7 stars. Did we really watch the same film?

This felt very much like a Michael Haneke movie to me. After a while I checked the imdb if Haneke maybe was involved in this, but he wasn't.

Certainly not my cup of tea.
