I enjoyed this

I read the overall blurb about the show. A mom loses her job and is dealing with an unfaithful spouse ... and she gets a job in new town and starts a new life there. To me, that alone was enough. I think I started watching Ballykissangel for much the same kind of thing, except in that case it was a priest getting transferred to small town and starting over. I didn't go in expecting it was going to be all mystical mumbo jumbo and really enjoyed the eccentric characters and the lush scenery. The story ended up being quite interesting and I really like how it unfolded from episode to episode without really forcing me to break from reality and believe anything if I didn't want to. I won't speak much about the end but I felt it was satisfying.

Hopefully this ends up on Netflix or something so more people get to experience it. It's not going to scratch the fantasy itch a whole lot... but what is there coupled with the drama and story telling made for a very satisfying experience for me.
