anyone else annoyed by the costumes?

Some of it's small, but anyone with the slightest working knowledge of this era should know these details. Hitler is shown wearing a black bordered SS arm band instead of his plain red party band. MacArthur is shown wearing five stars before that position was even created and there was a scene with (I think Patton) crawling back into his trench and soldiers were wearing WWII style helmets.
