I guess it isn't clear what the context is for this title but at first glance it certainly seems to me like improper grammar. Can anyone clarify?

Yup. It's bad grammar, sure enough. I saw it today, and have spent all afternoon thinking Dior and ME. ME. Not I.

It's not improper grammar as the context isn't given. Dior and I or Dior and Me both work.

Exactly. For instance, if it were at the start of a sentence it would be I: Dior and I are going to the atelier. If it were at the end, it woud be me: She went to the the atelier with Dior and me.

Was the film that bad you're quibbling about I or Me? Grammar Nazi overkill.

Depends where u hang from, "Dior and Me ma went to the local jumble sale to grab a bag of rags" is perfectly ok

Maybe it's a bad grammar / translation.

The French title of the film is: "Dior et moi" - which indicates that the film should be translated into English as: 'Dior and me'.

I believe that the intent of the title of the film is interpreted as: "The design house and it's relationship with me" - shortened to "Dior and me".
