Note: it would have been creepier if they had to remove their daughters eyes to destroy the doll. Just sayin'

shareYeah really. And anyone who was creeped out by that ridiculous chucky doll had issues. He looked like a chubby, annoying, fisher price, clown. Not even remotely scary.
Lastly, does the OP not realize the dozens of doll movies made long before Child's Play?!

Exactly. I think he looks like Raggedy Andy. What made him creepy was the animatronics. Once that doll was still he was comical.
